Financial Aid
Students who are fully or provisionally admitted to a degree program may be eligible to receive federal and institutional financial aid. Awards are typically split evenly into three semesters – fall, spring and summer. More detailed information is listed on our office of financial aid page.
Loans
- Students who wish to receive federal loans beginning with the fall semester should plan to submit the FAFSA and list Winthrop's federal school code 003456. Students must submit the FAFSA each year to be considered for aid.
- Graduate students interested in applying for a South Carolina Teacher's Loan need to submit an application before the state's deadline each year. Funding is limited so apply early.
- Students may also be eligible to borrow a Federal Direct PLUS Loan to help cover educational expenses. View additional information.
