This course provides a foundational understanding of the U.S. healthcare system’s structure, function, and dynamics, including the financing, delivery models, and regulatory environment. Students will explore the system’s historical evolution, complexity, and how stakeholders (e.g., patients, providers, payers, and policymakers) influence healthcare outcomes. This course focuses on transforming healthcare delivery by driving quality improvement and organizational performance excellence.
