Marion Koltun is the founder and CEO of The Koltun Group, specializing in Strategic Management and Development. Marion also serves as the Director of Special Projects at Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation, Inc. Over Marion's 40 plus years in the non-profit sector, she was Executive Director of Dance Theater Workshop, General Manager of The New 42nd Street, and National Director of Major Gifts at the Jewish Theological Seminary's Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education. She joined the staff of Dance Theater Workshop (now New York Live Arts) in June of 1999 to strategically plan and execute its $14 million capital project including building the Doris Duke Performance Center and establishing DTW’s first endowment. She was appointed Executive Director there in July 2003. Marion was General Manager and Director of Operations at The New 42nd Street, Inc. during its founding phase. Marion is proud to have begun her management career after Yale serving as Administrator for Lloyd Richards at the O’Neill Theater Center’s National Playwrights Conference from 1983-86. Her teaching credits include theater management seminars at the Yale School of Drama, where she received her MFA in Theater Management ‘83, Vassar College, where she received a BA in Theater, and online at Winthrop University in Winthrop’s Arts Management Program.
